Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service during peak seasonal days, delivering outstanding guest experiences in our Circle of Life sales culture.

You will greet guests, assist with video gaming needs, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and help meet sales goals while upholding store policies and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and recommending additional items.
• Fully support the overall shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking merchandise on shelves and fixtures, and transfer products from stock room to the selling floor with organized displays.
• Assist in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder as needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and safety measures.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
