Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team in Oak Ridge, TN during peak sales days. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will greet guests, recommend products, stock shelves, assist with inventory, and help meet sales goals while following store policies. A friendly, reliable attitude and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, recommending items, and ensuring courtesy during every transaction.
• Support the shopping environment, including visuals and operations, and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the team to keep all store areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure products are well-presented and alphabetized.
• Help the team meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention, including awareness of scams and safety practices.
• Adhere to all GameStop policies and procedures.
