Job summary

GameStop seeks a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service to deliver outstanding guest experiences in a busy holiday environment.

Essential duties include greeting guests, recommending products, maintaining storefront presentation, assisting with stocking, and helping achieve sales goals while following store policies. Availability for peak days is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with video gaming needs.
• Recommend additional items and apply selling behaviors during every transaction.
• Maintain the shopping environment and support store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the team to keep restrooms, shelves, and displays clean and merchandised.
• Assist stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure items are well-presented on the selling floor.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
