Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with their video gaming needs, recommending additional items, applying selling behaviors, and thanking each guest.
• Fully support the shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise, transferring products from stock to floor, and ensuring items are presented and alphabetized.
• Assist the team in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, and stay aware of scams and safety best practices.
• Adhere to all GameStop policies and procedures including attendance, confidentiality, and ethical responsibilities.
