Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join our store team in Michigan during peak holiday periods. You will deliver outstanding guest service, assist customers with video gaming needs, and help maintain an appealing store environment aligned with our Circle of Life model.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with preferred high school completion and prior retail or guest service experience, and must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with video gaming needs.
• Support store appearance, merchandising, and sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking merchandise and ensuring products are well-presented and accessible.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices; be aware of scams and safety best practices.
• Adhere to company policies including attendance, confidentiality, and ethical responsibilities.
