Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis during peak sales periods. You will deliver outstanding guest service in a dynamic retail environment and contribute to the Circle of Life buy, sell, trade, and reservation model.

The role focuses on sales, store maintenance, and customer service activities with an emphasis on guest satisfaction. Availability for peak seasonal days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by promptly greeting guests and assisting with video gaming needs, recommending items, and expressing gratitude.
• Support shopping environment and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with store team to keep all areas clean, organized and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure items are well-presented and alphabetized on the sales floor.
• Help meet sales, profit and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices and adhere to safety best practices.
