Job summary

Upper Arlington High School seeks an Athletic Site Manager for seasonal supervision of home athletic events in the district. You will help set up and take down equipment, greet officials, and coordinate staff across gyms and fields to ensure smooth operations.

The role involves scheduling with the Director of Student Life, managing game-day timelines, and supporting sponsorships and social media updates while maintaining safety and order during events.

Qualifications

• Must be able to supervise event staff and coordinate with the Director of Student Life.
• Ability to greet officials and direct them to facilities.
• Provide for safe conduct of events and post-event duties.

Responsibilities

• Meet weekly with the MS Director of Student Life to plan site coverage for home events.
• Assist in setting up and taking down equipment for events in fields or gyms.
• Greet opposing teams and officials and direct them to facilities and locker rooms.
• Ensure event staff report to designated areas and have contracts signed with officials/workers.
• Operate the video board and assist volunteers with pre-game timeline.
• Collaborate with gameday productions to fulfill sponsorships.
• Update athletics social media with game results.
• Provide visible supervision during events.
• Assist athletes, coaches, trainers, officials, and spectators with needs.
• Assist Department of Student Life with office duties as needed.
• Ensure safe egress for officials, teams, coaches, spectators.
• Perform other duties related to event supervision as assigned.
