Job summary

Upper Arlington City Schools is seeking an Athletic Site Manager for the winter season to provide site supervision and event coordination at home athletic events. The role involves coordinating setup, greeting officials, and overseeing staff and volunteers to ensure smooth game operations.

The position is seasonal and reports to the Middle School Director of Student Life, with duties including oversight of game-day timelines, sponsorship tasks, and social media updates.

Qualifications

• Must be able to supervise events and staff.
• Provide site support at home athletic events.
• Engage with officials, players, and spectators professionally.

Responsibilities

• Meet weekly with MS Director of Student Life to schedule home events.
• Set up and take down equipment for events on fields or in gymnasiums.
• Greet officials and direct them to facilities and locker rooms.
• Ensure event staff are in designated areas.
• Gather signatures on contracts for officials and game day workers.
• Turn on the video board and assist volunteers in pre-game timeline.
• Collaborate with gameday productions on sponsorships.
• Update athletics social media with game results.
• Provide visible supervision during the event.
• Assist athletes, coaches, trainers, opponents, officials, and spectators as needed.
• Assist the Department of Student Life with office duties.
• Provide for a safe exit of officials, teams, coaches, and spectators.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Student Life.
