Limelight Hotels is seeking a Steward/Prep Cook for Limelight Mammoth in Mammoth Lakes, CA. This is a full-time seasonal role reporting to the Executive Chef, focusing on cleaning, dishware handling, and assisting in food prep according to chef specifications.

Applications for the Winter 2026-27 season will be accepted; compensation is USD 19–21 per hour. Position requires ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with a physical, fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
• ServSafe or similar food safety certification is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Scrape, stack, and clean all dishes properly.
• Store dishes and silverware in designated locations.
• Set up cleaning area and prepare dish machine.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Assist with storage of food deliveries.
• Clean kitchen walls, floors, and related areas.
• Disassemble and reassemble dishwasher before end of shift.
• Post caution signs when floors are wet or being mopped.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Assist with preparing food items per chef specifications.
• Follow daily prep list to ensure items are ready for service.
• Report problems to the Chef/Sous Chef.
• Other duties as assigned.
