Job summary

Eastern Propane, a family-owned propane and oil company serving New England, seeks a seasonal delivery driver in New Hampshire. You will operate a commercial vehicle, load and unload safely, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include using tablets and laptops to manage data, performing system checks, maintaining tank monitors, and supporting DOT/SOP compliance. Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport liquid fuel products in every weather condition and at any time, day or night.
• Load and unload liquid fuel products safely from vehicle, which includes pulling up to 150 feet of delivery hose.
• Utilize web-based platforms on tablet, smart phone, laptop, and desktop to manage workflow and record data.
• Support Eastern’s policies and procedures, including by maintaining required licensure, meeting state, Department of Transportation (DOT), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) requirements, and complying with all applicable regulatory standards.
• Remain alert and focused and otherwise complete work in a safe manner.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety by engaging in safety meetings, safety training, and safety refreshers, alerting supervisor to unsafe actions, and modeling safety-conscious practices.
• Perform system checks, including leak checks, in accordance with Eastern’s SOPs and restart system appliances.
• Install and maintain tank monitors, periodically and as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

About this opportunity

This seasonal position is responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of liquid products to our customers on a daily basis. This position is also responsible for the cleanliness of company delivery vehicles, assisting with delivery-related projects, and providing a high level of service to customers and coworkers.
