Job summary

Eastern Propane is hiring for a delivery role focused on safe distribution of liquid products daily. You will ensure vehicle cleanliness, support delivery projects, and provide excellent service to customers and coworkers. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and reliable operation of equipment.

The anticipated pay range is $60,000 to $80,000 per year, with benefits including paid insurance options and opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport liquid fuel products in all weather and at any time.
• Load and unload liquid fuel safely from vehicle, including up to 150 feet of delivery hose.
• Use web-based platforms on tablet, smartphone, laptop, and desktop to manage workflow and record data.
• Maintain required licensure and comply with DOT and SOP requirements.
• Remain alert and complete work in a safe manner.
• Participate in safety meetings, safety training, and safety refreshers.
• Perform system checks, including leak checks, per SOPs and restart system appliances.
• Install and maintain tank monitors, periodically and as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

About this opportunity

This position is responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of liquid products to our customers on a daily basis. This position is also responsible for the cleanliness of company delivery vehicles, assisting with delivery-related projects, and providing a high level of service to customers and coworkers.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000.

What your role will look like

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport liquid fuel products in every weather condition and at any time, day or night.
• Load and unload liquid fuel products safely from vehicle, which includes pulling up to 150 feet of delivery hose.
• Utilize web-based platforms on tablet, smart phone, laptop, and desktop to manage workflow and record data.
• Support Eastern’s policies and procedures, including by maintaining required licensure, meeting state, Department of Transportation (DOT), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) requirements, and complying with all applicable regulatory standards.
• Remain alert and focused and otherwise complete work in a safe manner.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety by engaging in safety meetings, safety training, and safety refreshers, alerting supervisor to unsafe actions, and modeling safety-conscious practices.
• Perform system checks, including leak checks, in accordance with Eastern’s SOPs and restart system appliances.
• Install and maintain tank monitors, periodically and as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
