Eastern Propane is a family-owned full-service propane and oil company serving New England. This position ensures the safe daily delivery of liquid products to customers, maintains vehicle cleanliness, and supports delivery-related projects with a high level of service to customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport liquid fuel products in all weather and at any time
• Load and unload safely up to 150 feet of delivery hose
• Use tablets, smartphones, laptops to manage workflow and data
• Follow DOT/SOP requirements and company policies
• Stay alert and work safely, attend safety trainings
• Perform system checks and restart appliances per SOPs
• Install and maintain tank monitors as needed
• Other duties as assigned

About this opportunity

This position is responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of liquid products to our customers on a daily basis. This position is also responsible for the cleanliness of company delivery vehicles, assisting with delivery-related projects, and providing a high level of service to customers and coworkers.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000.

What your role will look like

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport liquid fuel products in every weather condition and at any time, day or night.
• Load and unload liquid fuel products safely from vehicle, which includes pulling up to 150 feet of delivery hose.
• Utilize web-based platforms on tablet, smart phone, laptop, and desktop to manage workflow and record data.
• Support Eastern’s policies and procedures, including by maintaining required licensure, meeting state, Department of Transportation (DOT), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) requirements, and complying with all applicable regulatory standards.
• Remain alert and focused and otherwise complete work in a safe manner.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety by engaging in safety meetings, safety training, and safety refreshers, alerting supervisor to unsafe actions, and modeling safety-conscious practices.
• Perform system checks, including leak checks, in accordance with Eastern’s SOPs and restart system appliances.
• Install and maintain tank monitors, periodically and as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
