Job summary

Kingston Resorts is seeking a Guest Service Agent for a seasonal, part-time role at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort. The 2nd shift (including weekends and holidays) is required, with benefits like free lunch, fitness club access, and discounts on travel programs for you and your family.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hotel operations, daily activities, and room products.
• Answer calls within 3 rings with proper etiquette.
• Identify guests' needs via open-ended questions and describe rooms and amenities.
• Handle special requests and update system accordingly.
• Access guest history to provide top service and resolve disputes.
• Present folio and resolve disputed charges.
• Assist departments with information on groups, inventory, and guest details.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

The Kingston Resorts is a 145-acre oceanfront resort on the north-end of Myrtle Beach. Less than 2 miles from Tanger Outlets and a short 20-minute trip to Broadway at the Beach. Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of hotel operations, scheduled daily activities, and room products.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Answer telephone calls within 3 rings, using correct salutations and telephone etiquette.
• Ascertain callers' needs through open-ended questions.
• Describe room accommodations and all amenities.
• Accommodate special requests and designate such in the system following the hotel's standard operating procedures.
• Access guest history records to best service guests; maintain accurate information in guest history files.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies. Always keep the bank secure.
• Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments/personnel (i.e. special requests, amenity delivery).
• Present folio to guest and resolve any disputed charges.
• Assist all departments/executives in obtaining appropriate information regarding groups, inventory, and guest information.
• Perform additional duties, as assigned.
