Job summary

Total Wine & More in Avon, OH is seeking a Cashier to deliver fast, friendly service and handle transactions efficiently. You will greet customers, promote the loyalty program, and assist with product questions while ensuring a positive visit experience.

You may also serve as a sales associate or merchandiser, with training to expand product knowledge and uphold store standards. Seasonal status may apply, with potential for non-seasonal eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for best-in-class customer service and team mindset.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, loyalty program promotion, and bagging.
• Greet customers and engage to build relationships and inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure compliance with all laws related to alcohol sales and store safety.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Seasonal role may be short term (up to six months) with option to apply for non-seasonal roles.
