Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a Seasonal Cashier to deliver fast, friendly service while processing transactions and answering questions. You may also perform as a sales associate or merchandiser as needed and will be referred to as Front End Team Member with supervision from store management.

Responsibilities include promoting the loyalty program, maintaining store standards, and staying informed on promotions.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of work experience, retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to work evenings/weekends.
• Physical ability to stand 8–10 hours and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Answer questions and promote loyalty program.
• Provide friendly, personalized service and bag purchases.
• Greet customers and build relationships; maintain knowledge of products and promotions.
• Assist with training and adhere to safety and alcohol sale regulations.
