Job summary

Total Wine & More in Boston is seeking a dedicated Cashier to support a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will process transactions, greet customers, and promote our loyalty program while staying informed on promotions and products.

This role requires reliability, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Training is provided to build product knowledge and compliance with alcohol sale laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience, 1+ years in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification and payment handling.
• Greet customers, engage to build relationships, and inform about products and services.
• Promote loyalty program and assist customers with selections.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all laws related to alcohol sale and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
