Total Wine & More in Massachusetts is hiring a Cashier to provide fast, friendly service, process transactions, and answer customer questions. You may also serve as sales associate or merchandiser as needed.

Responsibilities include handling payments, promoting loyalty, maintaining store appearance, and staying compliant with alcohol sale laws. Prior retail experience and familiarity with POS systems are helpful; must be able to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience; 1+ years in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID checks, payment handling, inquiries, loyalty program promotions, and bagging.
• Greet customers and deliver a personalized experience to build relationships.
• Participate in training to build product knowledge across wine, spirits, and beer.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs; uphold store safety and cleanliness.
• Adhere to laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a compliant store environment.
