Total Wine & More in Baton Rouge is seeking a Seasonal Front End team member to deliver fast, friendly cashier service. You may also serve as a sales associate or merchandiser, supporting store operations and promotions while upholding alcohol-safety standards.

You will process transactions, assist customers, and participate in product training. The role emphasizes customer care, teamwork, and adherence to store policies during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, answering inquiries, promoting loyalty program, and bagging product.
• Greet customers and inform about products and services to provide a personalized experience.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
