Job summary

Total Wine & More in Long Beach is seeking a Seasonal Front End Team Member (cashier) to provide fast, friendly service, process transactions, and assist customers with product knowledge and promotions. You may also perform duties as a sales associate or merchandiser as needed.

You will work with a team, greet customers, engage to build relationships, and support store operations while upholding safety and compliance with alcohol regulations. Prior retail/POS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to stand for 8–10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Provide friendly customer service and promote loyalty program.
• Build product knowledge through wine, spirits, and beer training and stay informed on promotions.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with alcohol sale laws and store policies.
