Job summary

Total Wine & More in Kentucky is seeking a seasonal Cashier to provide fast, friendly service, process transactions, verify IDs, promote the loyalty program, and help customers find products.

You will gain product knowledge through wine, spirits and beer training, maintain store safety and cleanliness, and support cross-functional duties. Prior retail experience and availability for evenings and weekends are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in retail.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of alcohol sale laws and safety.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification and payment handling.
• Promote loyalty program and assist customers with questions.
• Bag groceries and maintain cleanliness and safety across the store.
• Provide fast, friendly service and build customer relationships.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
