Job summary

Greenville Fine Wine, Inc. seeks a Seasonal Cashier to deliver fast, friendly service, process transactions, verify IDs, promote the loyalty program, and bag purchases. You may also assist as a sales associate or merchandiser depending on store needs.

Join a team focused on knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer, safety, and compliant selling. You will greet customers, answer questions, and help maintain a clean, well-organized store while supporting cross-functional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for best-in-class customer service and team player mindset.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification and payment handling.
• Answer inquiries and promote loyalty program; bag products.
• Greet customers, engage to build relationships, and inform about products/services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions and ensure safety and cleanliness standards.
• Adhere to laws related to sale of alcohol and perform cross-functional duties as assigned.
