Job summary

Total Wine & More is hiring a seasonal Cashier at our New York store. You will provide fast, friendly service, process transactions, assist customers with questions, and promote loyalty programs while keeping the store clean and compliant.

Role may include as needed as sales associate or merchandiser; 21+ required with flexibility for evenings/weekends. Paid time off and competitive benefits are available for eligible team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience, ideally in retail.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification and payment handling.
• Greet customers, answer questions, promote loyalty programs, and bag products.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer product training to build knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Keep the store safe and clean and comply with alcohol sale regulations.
