Job summary

Total Wine & More in New Jersey is hiring a Seasonal Cashier who will process transactions, assist customers, and help maintain a welcoming store environment. You may also take on duties as a sales associate or merchandiser as needed, under Front End Team Member supervision.

The role requires 1–3 years retail experience, familiarity with POS and inventory software, and a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience, retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Deliver exceptional service, greet customers, and inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with alcohol sale laws.
