Total Wine & More in Union, New Jersey is seeking a Seasonal Cashier to support fast, friendly checkout and customer service. You will process transactions, answer questions, and promote our loyalty program while working with a knowledgeable team.

You will receive product training on wine, beer and spirits, stay informed about promotions, and help maintain store cleanliness and compliance. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience, retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Greet customers and provide a personalized shopping experience.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Ensure store safety and cleanliness and comply with alcohol sale laws.
• Perform cross-functional duties as assigned.
