Job summary

Total Wine & More is hiring a Cashier in Totowa, NJ. The role emphasizes fast and friendly service, accurate transaction processing, and engagement with customers to build relationships. Training on wine, spirits, and beer will support product knowledge and upselling opportunities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1-3 years of work experience; retail experience preferred.
Familiar with point-of-sale systems and stock familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, answering questions, and promoting loyalty programs.
Participate in product training to build knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and store policies.
Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant store environment and assist with cross-functional tasks.
