Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM is seeking a Freezer Lead for East Dock on 1st Shift (Seasonal). This role coordinates daily workflow in a multi-temperature warehouse, including freezer areas at or below 0°F, and leads training for associates to meet productivity and safety standards.

You will monitor performance with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and reports, provide timely feedback, lead start-up meetings, and help update processes and training materials, while fostering a respectful, motivated team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in warehouse or similar.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Basic math and ability to read and follow labels and processes.
• Experience with WMS and SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow, training, and problem-solving for associates in a cold storage/freezer environment.
• Monitor productivity using WMS and reports to meet goals.
• Provide timely feedback to associates.
• Lead start-up meetings and communicate departmental updates.
• Update processes, training materials, and documentation.
• Promote a respectful, motivated workplace.
• Perform manual labor on production floor during non-peak periods.
• Ensure compliance with safety, SQF requirements.
• Perform additional duties and support other departments as assigned.
