Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in Richmond, VA is seeking a Seasonal Forklift Operator for Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The role focuses on safe operation of basic powered material handling equipment for receipt, storage, and order fulfillment.

Key duties include full case picking, pallet movement, quality checks, loading/unloading, shrink-wrap application, cycle counts, and maintaining location accuracy. Requires high school diploma, ability to operate equipment, safety compliance, and strong

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to operate basic powered material handling equipment (e.g., electric pallet jack, forklift).
Must meet PPE and fall protection requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform full case order picking for replenishment, customer orders, and packaging components.
Retrieve and put away pallets in narrow aisle bulk rack storage systems.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure transaction accuracy.
Load and unload pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines by hand or equipment.
Sort and build product on pallets to meet customer expectations.
Use machinery to apply shrink wrap to pallets.
Complete pre- and post-equipment checklists.
Maintain storage location accuracy through daily cycle counts and routine inventory maintenance.
