Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator in Richmond, VA to load and unload pallets, move wood, and keep production moving safely and efficiently. The role features a Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:00pm shift with hourly pay of $17.00.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of forklift experience and be able to work overtime as needed in a labor-intensive environment. Benefits and on-site conditions are described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant.
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.
• Stack finished products into trailers or to storage areas up to a safe height.
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with all other plant personnel in mind.
