Job summary

ReaderLink Distribution Services in Salem, VA seeks an experienced Forklift Operator to support a high-volume distribution center. The role requires operating sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers and pallet jacks safely and efficiently, with routine checks and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Must pass the ReaderLink Powered Industrial Truck Safety & Certification training to obtain a license valid for three years.
• Basic computer skills with WMS, RF and scanning experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric powered sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers and pallet jacks in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Load, unload, stack and store products safely and efficiently.
• Transport products to designated areas to support operations.
• Use pallet wrapping machinery, floor scales, RF equipment and utility knife as required.
• Perform daily forklift checks and report any safety issues or hazards.
