The Merchandise Handler handles full cases of product (up to 50 lbs., 22.7 kg), lifting cartons and merchandise onto and off conveyor lines, pallets, or other storage containers. You will spend at least 50% of your working hours lifting cartons. You should be open to learning equipment operation skills. The role requires steady, fast-paced work to maintain case quantities for picking and to help palletize outbound products.

The High Lift Operator lifts and stacks merchandise up to 50 lbs., 22.7 kg, on/off conveyor lines, semi-trailers, pallets, or other storage containers and racks within the distribution center. This role involves operating powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, stand-up forklifts, or order selectors. You will operate power equipment for more than half your working hours. Responsibilities include handling full cases, verifying documentation, and facilitating merchandise flow. Completion of Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) classroom training and passing a written test are required, along with a PIV driver training course conducted in English.

Responsibilities:

• Follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Use basic math to verify quantities, make adjustments, and complete paperwork accurately
• Operate Warehouse Management System (WMS), RF scanners, and other equipment
• Pay attention to detail, follow directions, and solve problems
• Identify products and match numbers
• Operate motorized and non-motorized equipment to move merchandise
• Inspect merchandise for quality and brand accuracy
• Maintain and verify documentation to ensure smooth merchandise flow

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous distribution center experience is helpful
• Flexible regarding job assignments, including overtime and different departments or locations
• Meet productivity standards after training
• Ability to work well with others
• Follow safety, hazardous material, and OSHA regulations
• Stand or walk throughout the shift; sitting may be limited
• Pass pre-employment screenings, including drug tests for power equipment roles
