Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking a Seasonal Associate in Shared Finance Services to support financial accounting in a collaborative team environment. You will help prepare accounting entries and general ledger reconciliations under supervision, contributing to timely closes.

The position is seasonal with an hourly pay rate of $18, and offers an opportunity to learn GAAP-based practices while building essential finance skills in a dynamic entertainment company.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Great written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accounting entries for assigned properties to ensure timely period closing schedules.
• Assist in preparing general ledger account reconciliations as assigned by a Manager – Financial Accounting.
• Partner with other shared service functions to ensure transactions posted are accurate and timely.
• Follow internal control processes, policies, and procedures.
• Comply with professional accounting standards and GAAP.
• Occasionally adjust work schedule to meet deadlines, including overtime and evenings/weekends.
• Adhere to Six Flags policies and demonstrate commitment to core values.
