Job summary

The Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking a Seasonal Shared Finance Services (SFS) associate to join a collaborative team supporting Financial Accounting functions. You will help ensure timely, accurate accounting entries and close procedures while reporting to the Accounting II, Supervisor, or Manager.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting, have basic MS Office skills, and possess strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration degree.
• Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accounting entries for properties to maintain timely close.
• Assist in preparing general ledger reconciliations.
• Collaborate with shared service teams to ensure accurate postings.
• Follow internal controls and GAAP compliance.
• Occasionally work overtime or evenings to meet deadlines.
• Adhere to Six Flags policies and core values.
