Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation seeks a Seasonal Shared Finance Services associate to support Financial Accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate entries and reconciliations.

You will report to the Accounting II, Supervisor, and/or Manager, collaborate with the team, follow internal controls, and adhere to GAAP. The role may include overtime or weekend hours to meet deadlines and offers hands-on experience in a stable entertainment leader.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration degree programs.
• Proficiency withMicrosoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and PDF tooling.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accounting entries for assigned properties to ensure timely period closing schedules are maintained.
• Assist in preparing general ledger account reconciliations as assigned by a Manager – Financial Accounting.
• Partner with other shared service functions to ensure transactions posted are accurate and timely.
• Follow internal control processes, policies, and procedures.
• Comply with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordance with GAAP.
