Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation seeks a Seasonal Associate in Shared Finance Services (SFS). You will join a collaborative team to support Financial Accounting with timely, accurate entries and reconciliations, reporting to the Accounting II team lead.

This on-site seasonal role pays $18 per hour, offers exposure to GAAP, general ledger activities, and internal controls, and provides a hands-on path in a premier entertainment company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accounting entries to support timely period closing.
• Assist in preparing general ledger reconciliations.
• Collaborate with shared service functions to ensure accurate postings.
• Follow internal controls and GAAP in daily tasks.
• Support overtime or adjusted hours as needed to meet deadlines.
• Adhere to Six Flags policies and core values.
• Other duties as assigned.
