Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking a Seasonal Associate for its Shared Finance Services team. You will assist in accounting entries and reconciliations, supporting timely financial closes and adherence to GAAP.

Ideal candidates are students enrolled in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat. Some overtime may be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and PDF (Adobe Acrobat).
• Strong written, interpersonal, and verbal communication; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accounting entries for assigned properties to help maintain timely close schedules.
• Assist in preparing general ledger account reconciliations as assigned by a Manager – Financial Accounting.
• Partner with other shared service functions to ensure transactions are accurate and timely.
• Follow internal control policies and GAAP standards.
