Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Operations Technical Specialist to ensure the readiness of our seasonal tax office network. You’ll set up offices, install brand elements, run basic maintenance, and coordinate with District Operations Coordinators and TIAs to open and close locations smoothly.

In this field-based role, you’ll travel between offices, install hardware, troubleshoot simple issues, manage supplies, and keep equipment and facilities up to brand standards through the busy seasonal

Qualifications

• Ability to lift/move up to 55 pounds in a field-based environment.
• Basic technical knowledge of office technology and hardware.
• Flexible schedule in a seasonal role with travel between offices.
• Reliable transportation to travel between office locations.

Responsibilities

• Support the setup, opening, closure, and relocation of seasonal tax offices.
• Execute office setup activities, including planograms, window clings, lightboxes, and brand compliance.
• Perform custodial tasks to keep offices clean and ready for operation.
• Perform routine building maintenance such as replacing bulbs, cleaning HVAC vents, and minor repairs.
• Identify maintenance issues and notify the District Operations Coordinator.
• Install, remove, and support PC hardware across multiple locations with guidance.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware issues and document incidents and resolutions.
• Deliver supplies and materials to and from office locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory of district resources and equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of supported products and systems.
• Partner with district leadership and technology teams to support readiness goals.
• Participate in required training and complete other duties as assigned.
