Job summary

Houston-Livestock-Show-and-Rodeo is seeking a Seasonal Coordinator for Events & Community Development to support Parade, Trail Ride, and Rodeo Run committees, and assist the marketing department. This seasonal role runs October through April with variable hours.

You will manage committee expenses and records, coordinate approvals and permits, assist influencer programs, and help the digital team with social content.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented and organized with excellent customer service and communication skills, oral and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with photo management and editing software (Photo Mechanic, Lightroom, Bridge, Photoshop) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Show committees with expense and revenue tracking, correspondence, and record keeping.
• Coordinate permits for Parade and Trail Ride activities; work with city officials.
• Assist influencer/content creator programs and creator outreach.
• Provide support to digital and social team; knowledge of Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok.
