Job summary

River Trails Park District is seeking a part-time Birthday Party Helper in Prospect Heights, IL. You will assist with party setup, lead games, and keep children entertained while ensuring a safe, fun environment.

The role requires being enrolled in high school, ability to interact well with children and adults, and a willingness to follow park policies. CPR/First Aid/AED training is recommended within 3 months, and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in set up for birthday parties and lead games.
• Greet children and parents, engage children in activities.
• Clean up all items used and store them properly after parties.
• Enforce park district policies and safety rules.
• Attend staff and training meetings.
• Notify supervisor when supplies are needed.
