Southall is seeking an Event Line Cook to craft seasonally driven dishes at the Orchard Event Center, leveraging local produce and a collaborative culinary team. You will prep foods to standard recipes, manage station setup, and maintain clean, safe cooking areas while respecting product quality.

The role requires at least 2 years kitchen experience and good English reading/writing; Spanish is a plus. Expect weekend/holiday shifts and physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years kitchen experience.
• Must read, write and understand English to complete requisitions and read recipes.
• Opening experience preferred but not required.
• Conversational Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Prepare all foods according to standard recipes to ensure consistency for the guest.
• Have good working knowledge of fundamental cooking procedures.
• Monitor proper storage of products and portion control to maintain high quality.
• Stock and set up kitchen stations according to specifications.
• Keep operations clean, sanitary, and organized; proper handling of products.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition.
• Assist in food preparation during off-peak periods.
• Show respect for product and teammates; maintain a positive attitude.
