Job summary

Bright is seeking a Dispatch Associate to keep deliveries on track, route jobs, and support drivers and crews throughout the day. You will use GPS routing software to plan efficient routes, stay in contact with field personnel, and assist clients and the sales team with inquiries.

This role demands strong multitasking, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Weekend availability and a valid driver’s license are required as part of the daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with GPS/routing software and MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage the work of the drivers and operations team to ensure work is accomplished in line with safety requirements.
• Assist with planning routes for jobs and crews using GPS software to meet client needs and efficiency.
• Provide timely responses to emails, calls, and requests.
• Communicate with clients in time-sensitive situations; support the sales team with inquiries.
• Collaborate with drivers to relay urgent requests and resolve delivery issues.
• Multitask last-minute requests alongside established routes for the day.
• Explain proper use of equipment to team members and clients.
• Build professional relationships with drivers, leading by example with energy and dependability.
