Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Seasonal Preop/PACU Registered Nurse in Texas for a temporary program running Oct 1, 2026 through Dec 31, 2026. The role involves intraoperative nursing care, circulating and scrub duties, and potential float to other centers within the division.

Seasonal staff work 24 hours per week minimum and earn a $55 per hour seasonal rate. You will contribute to safe, efficient care for surgical and GI patients, participate in case management, and support the transition to

Qualifications

Nursing diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years in operating room, ambulatory surgery preferred.
RN license active in Texas (or compact licensure).
BCLS required at employment; ACLS as facility requires; CNOR/SGNA preferred.

Responsibilities

Rotate to other ambulatory surgery center facilities as needed.
Oversee instrument and equipment setup for cases.
Coordinate and oversee the room during cases as circulator.
Facilitate efficient transitions between procedures and update preference cards.
