Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma is required.
• Minimum of 2 years in an operating room setting; ambulatory surgery center preferred.
• RN license required or compact licensure accepted.
• BCLS certification required at employment (online certification not acceptable).
• ACLS as required by facility.
• CNOR/SGNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee instrument and equipment setup for procedures.
• Coordinate the room as circulator during cases.
• Facilitate efficient transitions between procedures and care phases.
• Use and update preference cards for each case as needed.
