Qualifications

• Knowledge of coaching philosophy and sport-specific techniques.
• Must complete MSHSAA/NFHS Coaching Principles Course and Sports First Aid Courses.
• Strong commitment to student-athlete development and understanding eligibility regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a full team in compliance with MSHSAA standards.
• Attend required MSHSAA sessions and implement athletic standards.
• Coordinate program logistics and supervise students at practices and contests.
• Assist with transportation, facilities, officials and game management.
• Organize regular practice sessions to develop student-athletes' potential.
• Emphasize safety and up-to-date training/injury management procedures.
• Model sportsmanship and ethical conduct at all times.
• Ensure systematic return of equipment per department handbook.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth through clinics and publications.
