GHT Limited seeks a Seasonal Electrical Engineer for Summer 2027 in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on gaining hands-on experience in Revit-based design and basics of engineering under close supervision. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Selected interns will contribute to Base Building or Interiors Studios, receive in-house training, and learn GHT’s standards and systems. Strong candidates may be offered future internships or full-time roles.

About GHT

With over 60 years of successful MEP design experience, GHT Limited is one of the largest MEP engineering consulting firms in the DC Metro area as we continue to expand our presence in this market and launch a new office in Charlotte, NC. Our LEED Gold certified office is close to the Ballston Metro and in the heart of Arlington, Virginia. GHT hosts a Seasonal Summer Program which is designed for individuals who have a minimum of one year completed in pursuit of an electrical engineering degree. Seasonal Engineers will be assigned to the Base Building or Interiors Studios.

About the Program

Individuals selected for the program will acquire a working knowledge of Revit-based design with in-house training and understanding of all GHT’s standards, details and computer systems for engineering. They will perform assignments requiring application of basic engineering fundamentals and design/drafts (CADD input) assignments. All work will be closely directed, supervised, and reviewed by senior designers or engineers with an opportunities to work with a variety of teams on several projects. Successful candidates frequently are offered future internships and full-time positions.

Candidates are encouraged to take the Engineer in Training exam. They are also encouraged to be active members or attend general meetings of technical societies related to their field of competency (ASHRAE, IES, ASPE, NSPE, etc.).

Pay range is estimated for the coming year and assumes being at least a rising junior in an ABET-accredited program.
