Job summary

UPS is seeking a Seasonal Dispatcher in Los Angeles, CA to support small package dispatch operations. You will help plan dispatches, monitor driver hours for regulatory compliance, and coordinate with teams to meet service, safety, and cost goals.

Responsibilities include load planning, equipment checks, yard operations, and reviewing performance reports. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential for success in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs (32 kg).
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication; working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dispatch planning and ensure service, safety, and cost goals are met.
• Coordinate with teams to execute dispatch plans and manage staffing and equipment.
• Oversee load and tractor planning, monitor movements and equipment condition.
• Review and track dispatch/service reports and schedules; incorporate new loads and locations.
