Job summary

Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, VT is seeking a Seasonal Dishwasher to support the kitchen during foliage season through December. This on-site role focuses on washing dishes, keeping the staff dining room clean, and upholding sanitary standards.

You'll work as part of a busy kitchen team, learn sanitation procedures, and assist with basic prep as assigned. Training is provided, and shifts are seasonal.

Qualifications

• LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to communicate effectively with front/back of house and customers.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide basic numbers; know measurements.
• REASONING ABILITY: Solve problems and follow varied instructions.
• COMPUTER SKILLS: General computer literacy.
• OTHER SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Use kitchen equipment respectfully; attend sanitation classes.

Responsibilities

• Wash all dishes, silverware, pots and pans; keep sanitary in kitchen and staff dining room.
• Rinse, load, and run dishes through dishwashing machine; ensure timely cleaning.
• Unload clean dishes and store in designated areas; maintain organized work surfaces.
• Wash pots and pans manually in 3-bay sink with hot water and soap; air dry.
• Keep staff dining room stocked with dishes, glassware, and utensils; clean floors and surfaces.
• Take out trash and recycling; clean staff dining area after meals; teardown dishwasher.
• Attend sanitation classes and stay updated on procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
