Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is seeking a Seasonal Desktop Support Analyst to serve as the single point of contact for end-users. You will install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade PC hardware to ensure optimal workstation performance.

Responsibilities include triaging desktop issues on-site, by phone, or via email; configuring workstations; collaborating with LAN staff; and maintaining printers and networked devices in a Windows environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Microsoft certifications.
• Excellent technical knowledge of PC and desktop hardware.
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with iPads, iPhones, and Android devices.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP and network basics.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of desktop problems and implement corrective solutions.
• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software.
• Collaborate with LAN technicians and network admins to ensure efficient desktop operations.
• Receive and respond to calls, pages, and emails regarding desktop issues.
• Maintain an inventory of monitors, keyboards, and other peripherals; document repairs and installations.
• Liaise with third-party support and vendors as needed.
