Job summary

Buc-ee's Smiths Grove LLC is hiring Seasonal Deli/Food Service staff who love food and serving customers. Training is provided for those new to the industry. You will work in multiple stations preparing items such as BBQ, baked goods, sandwiches and jerky.

This role runs November 1 through January 4 and requires quick learning, great customer service, and the ability to work weekends or holidays on a rotating schedule. Buc-ee’s is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Restaurant or retail experience preferred (kitchen line cook, busser, server, expediter, service staff experience a plus).
• Prolonged walking or standing for 8 hours or more.
• Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, climbing reaching, balancing, pushing, pulling (40 lbs or more).

Responsibilities

• Develop culinary skills as you prep bakery offerings, jerky, fudge, BBQ, and other restaurant menu items.
• Prepare Buc-ee’s unique food service menu offerings to prescribed recipes and maintain confidentiality.
• Adhere to all Company culinary recipes and measurements.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Guarantee safe food handling.
• Maintain a clean workstation while quickly executing orders for customers.
• Professionally interact with team members and customers.
