Job summary

Michaels is seeking team members for the Brunswick, GA store to deliver friendly customer service and smooth checkout experiences. You will help shoppers find products, assist with store merchandising, and participate in truck unloading and stocking duties.

The role involves promoting the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, guiding customers through storefront and online order processes, and supporting omni-channel services like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain store recovery, merchandise returns, and in-stock conditions
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; maintain a positive image
