Job summary

Michaels is a leading crafts retailer seeking a Store Associate in Tucker, GA. You will help customers find products, provide solutions, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience in a climate-controlled public store environment.

The role includes truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining shelves, participating in SISO and planograms, and supporting omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS. Evening and weekend shifts are common, and associates benefit from employee discounts and company

Qualifications

Retail/customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance and handle returns/go back process.
Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to SOPs and company policies; promote a positive image.
